Thomas Cook Aircraft Engineering (TCAE) Apprenticeship programme 2015

Dear All,

I am delighted to announce the opening of the Thomas Cook Aircraft Engineering (TCAE) Apprenticeship programme for this year.

The attached flyer/advert details the role of the apprentice and the application process for the vacancies within Thomas Cook.

In short, it will be a 3-4 year programme based on the successful applicant completing an NVQ level 3 in Aircraft Maintenance, a level 3 Diploma in Aeronautical Engineering and an EASA “A” Licence.

The first year will be spent at Coleg Cambria in Deeside where they will learn basic engineering skills alongside other apprentices from various sectors of the aviation industry. The following 2-3 years will see the apprentices undertaking comprehensive training within TCAE at Manchester and Coleg Cambria – Deeside, working towards their qualifications and EASA “A” Licence modular exams.

If you know somebody who would like to apply then please point them towards the link on the flyer, namely:www.thomascook.com/recruitment

Please cascade this information to anyone that may be interested (inside and outside of your organisation).

Applications close on 21st June 2015.

Kind regards,

Paul Watkins
Training Manager
